ASHIYA UNIVERSITY JAPAN - SKY ACE TIGA

The Ashiya University team is attracted to the adventure and spirit of the Australian WSC. The first aim of the team was to complete the journey and cross the finish line in Adelaide. The second goal is to obtain a place within the top five solar cars at the conclusion of the event. The 17 member team is comprised primarily of students, with a mix of teachers past and present.

1. OUR ACTIVITY

Now we are living a very rich life with using so much fuel, for example cars ……….

In other hand, we have several social problems from the second half of the 20th century which are energy resources, earth environment.

Therefore we established solar car team and started developing solar car from 1992. The solar car requires sun power only and doesn't make both exhaust sound and gas. We have developed 3 solar cars during 15 years of our activity.

Sky-A of 1st car, Sky-Ace 2 of 2nd car, and we developed Ashiya Sky Ace TIGA of 3rd car on 2000 year. We are joining many solar car race and event in Japan and all over the world.

The packaging of Ashiya Sky Ace TIGA was renewed, and it applied about 3.5 years and manufactured.
